Refund Policy

At Arsenault Mobile Mechanic, we are committed to providing quality automotive services and customer satisfaction. Because we primarily provide mobile repair and maintenance services rather than retail products, our return and refund policy differs from that of a traditional online store.

1. Service Appointments

Customers may cancel or reschedule an appointment by contacting us as soon as possible.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

If our technician has already traveled to the service location or work has begun, travel charges and labour charges may apply.

2. Refunds for Services

Once a service has been completed, labour charges are generally non-refundable.

If you believe work was not completed properly, please contact us within 30 days of the service date. We will review the issue and, where appropriate, may:

  • Reinspect the vehicle.

  • Correct workmanship covered under our labour warranty.

  • Offer a partial or full refund at our sole discretion if warranted.

Refunds are not provided for:

  • Customer-supplied parts.

  • Repairs declined by the customer.

  • Pre-existing vehicle issues.

  • New or unrelated mechanical failures occurring after service.

  • Diagnostic time already performed.

3. Parts Supplied by Arsenault Mobile Mechanic

Unused parts supplied by Arsenault Mobile Mechanic may be eligible for return if:

  • They have not been installed.

  • They are in new, unused condition.

  • They are returned in their original packaging.

  • They are returned within 30 days of purchase.

  • The supplier accepts the return.

Special-order, electrical, or non-returnable parts may not be eligible for return.

Shipping charges, supplier restocking fees, and special-order fees may be deducted from any refund where applicable.

4. Customer-Supplied Parts

We do not accept returns or provide refunds for customer-supplied parts.

Customers are responsible for arranging returns directly with the place of purchase.

5. Special Order Parts

Parts ordered specifically for your vehicle may be non-refundable once ordered.

If the supplier refuses a return, we are unable to issue a refund.

6. Defective Parts

If a part supplied by Arsenault Mobile Mechanic is found to be defective and is covered under the manufacturer's warranty, we will assist with the warranty claim process.

Warranty decisions are made by the manufacturer or supplier.

Labour reimbursement is subject to the manufacturer's warranty policy.

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.

Please allow 5–10 business days for refunds to appear, depending on your financial institution.

8. Non-Refundable Charges

The following charges are non-refundable once incurred:

  • Diagnostic fees

  • Mobile travel fees

  • Labour already performed

  • Emergency roadside service fees

  • Special-order parts (where supplier return is not permitted)

  • Supplier restocking fees
